SELECTION:
Our designers can assist you with selecting stone, edge work, new sinks, faucets and other appliances and accessories that may enhance remodeling project. You can select the stones based on the samples that we have in our showroom or we can set up your appointment with our supplier to choose your own slab. You could bring a sample of your paint or cabinet color to determine which stone would go best with your kitchen.
QUOTATION:
Based on the measurements from your drawings or our sales person's drawings, stone & edge selection we will give you a written estimate.
You can also schedule an appointment with our designing team to come out to your house and measure the countertops to give you an estimate.
CONTRACT:
If the specifications are final and if you accept the estimate, you will be asked to sign a job confirmation that will be passed to our scheduling department for coordination with production.
A 50% deposit is due upon signing of the contract, and the final 50% upon completion of the project. Payments can be made by using check or cash.
TEMPLATING:
Within 48 hrs of signing the contract we will schedule our installation crew to come out and take actual measurements of your countertops. In the templating process, we make a pattern of your cabinets. During this phase
§ All sinks/cooktops/faucets are checked for compatibility and fit (therefore all such units must be on-site at template),
§ Final judgment on seam placement is made; we seek the best position and fit of the surface on each slab to create seamless surfaces whenever possible. When seams are necessary due to size, shape, or slab texture considerations, we determine an aesthetically appealing position, especially on natural stone, to achieve consistent flow and reduce seam visibility.
§ Cabinets are reviewed for any adjustments required, and points related to overhang, general support and any personal preferences are discussed. Any refinements needed to cabinetry, etc., which will be required prior to installation of your countertops will be discussed with you. If new cabinets are being installed; the base cabinets must be complete before any template takes place. If cabinets are out of level, you will need to bring in a contractor to level them up before we can install the granite.
FABRICATION:
Upon receiving final approval of your drawings, material & edge work our fabrication team will get to work. Before we start fabrication we recommend our customers to visit our facility to view and approve the material and layout of the countertops. This will be your last opportunity to make changes before the actual fabrication phase begins.
INSTALLATION:
We bring the final product to your home in about 7 days from the time of templating the job. We work with our customers to schedule the install time as per their schedule. The installation phase can take the better part of a day and can require some final cutouts to be made in your home. Some dust can result even though our installers are equipped to catch the majority of the dust.
- Tearout
To minimize any inconvenience, we tearout the old countertop on the day of installation. As a part of the tear out service we will a) disconnect all plumbing and electrical connections, leaving the fixtures with you unless otherwise requested by you, b) tear out your existing countertops (and backsplash if applicable), and c) dump the old countertops unless directed otherwise. We advise you to remove all items from your countertops, lower cabinets and drawers prior to a tear out since some dust is to be expected.
- Plumbing:
During installation, your undermount sink(s), if applicable, will be mounted under your stone. To make this a one stop shop we also provide services like pluming for new kitchen/vanity sinks, install new/old garbage disposal, and cook- top reconnection.
- Inspection
Your inspection of the finished job is very important. We will ask you to fill out our standard Job Completion Checklist indicating your acceptance of the job.
- Payment:
Final amount is due at this time. You could either pay by check or cash.
